These mufflers have been scientiflcally designed through hundreds of hours of experimental testing. We use state of the art equipment at Fusion Mufflers – including a Superflow SF600 bench and an in-house computerized SF902 Dynomometer.

Riddle Marine has been using mufflers on all of our custom boats from various manufactures for many years. Some mufflers where quieter than others, and the quietest mufflers were usually the most restrictive on performance. If a marine engine did not perform to its advertised numbers the first thing the engine manufacturer would tell us was to remove the mufflers.
Anyone who has spent time on the river knows what it is like to hear boats go by with no mufflers. We did not want to be the builder of that boat! Our first experience with Fusion Mufflers was on a Mercury 200 Optimax Sport Jet. We have used the Mercury Sport Jet for more than 15 years and have a pretty solid baseline for both performance and noise. We were amazed at how good the engine ran and at the much quieter exhaust note.
We immediately approached Byron (Fusion Mufflers) about building mufflers for use on our larger V8 powered boats.
